As a company who rely on physical events in outdoor locations, One Six Events struggled in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent capacity restrictions. That’s why they approached Market Jar in early 2021, hoping to transform their online marketing efforts.
One Six Events firstly asked us to design a new responsive website for them. They were also looking to improve their online presence so that new customers would be able to find them via search engines and social media.
They wanted to produce more content that they could use to promote their brand, attract new customers and retain existing ones. After this review of their online presence, they also wanted some best practice guidelines that would help them to improve their efforts in the future.

We started by redesigning their website, which hadn’t had a refresh in a number of years. We improved the UX and UI, navigability, website speed and created a responsive website that would look good on different devices.
With a fresh new website to work with, we set about developing an SEO strategy that would deliver One Six Events new customers and more revenue. We did this by firstly identifying a range of target keywords that their target customers were searching for.
